Void was the dark half of the Goddess Illumina of Maginary World, and a villain who sought to use the power of the Precioustone for his own ends.

Void was created when Illumina's self-doubt shattered the Precioustone and caused her to split into two separate beings: Void and his good counterpart, Lumina. Void attempted to claim the Precioustones for himself, but was thwarted by the efforts of Lumina's new allies: Sonic the Hedgehog, Amy Rose, Knuckles the Echidna, and Tails. After the nature of his relationship with Lumina was uncovered, the two reunited to become Illumina once more. (StH: #92, CSE)

Background information

• It is possible that Void once again split from Illumina and was captured by the Zone Cops and brought to the Zone Jail, as he was seen talking to Mephiles in the cafeteria; however, it is also possible that this was a version of Void from another zone.
