King Theodore Acorn was an early member of the House of Acorn and ruler of the Kingdom of Acorn. After his son Emerson Acorn was accidentally killed by a young Overlander named Paladin playing with a gun, Theodore instituted the anti-gun law that has remained in force from his reign through to the reign of his distant descendant Maximillian Acorn, but which was repealed during the Second Robotnik War. When Theodore, who was titled the Bereaved as a result of his loss, stepped down, he lived out the rest of his life in Knothole. He was succeeded by his second son Raphael Acorn, who was born so late into his life that Theodore had little time to instruct him in his role as king before passing. (StH: #72, # 102, CSE)
