I believe sonic is 17 in the archie comics.[]
I've been thinking for a long time about this and came to the conclusion that he must be somewhere in his 17th year. He was only gone from Mobius for a a little less than a year. He left Mobius when he was 16 and then came back just in time for his 17th.

- I thought about this for a while, but I figured it out. Sonic was 16 by the time of issue #68. He still probably was when he was tossed in space. However, what would have been his 17th birthday passed by during his year absense. - No. For starters, he wasn't sixteen in the beginning, plus he didn't AGE a year while he was in space (he didn't experience a year of time whereas Mobius did -- it's basically time dilation). So he was fifteen, had a birthday, became sixteen, was lost in space for a while, and so when his next birthday rolled around on Mobius, a year hadn't passed for him. If you look at the numbers provided in the article (year of birth compared to the current year) you'll see that there's no way he could be nineteen. - One thing your ignoring, there were TWO Sonic birthdays int he comics. So having been 15, hed still be 17 nao and not 16. Still a descrepincy. One was earlier, the other was when Anti became Scourge. Rose Eclipz 07:26, January 9, 2011 (UTC)
Super Strength?[]
I'm pretty sure that what physical strength Sonic has is caused only by how fast he moves. He's not actually super strong (strength =/= power). I don't know, it just seems weird to have that on there.
- And it's still there. Anyone else find it somewhat out of place? It kinda implies that a standing punch from Sonic would be equal to Mighty or Knuckles, or that he'd be able to lift things easily. CrazyLea 05:19, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Chaos Power[]
Does anyone ever wonder what potential Sonic has with Chaos Control and other chaos powers? He's and Shadow are very similar, and Sonic can become Super Sonic, which uses Chaos energy. So why doesn't Sonic use it in his normal form?
Think, he's not a 'chosen one' or a ultimate life form, or even a hedgehog from the future, just a regular super-fast blue talking hedgehog. If he did the immense power would probley rip him in two and have his chaos powers run ramped throught out Moubius destroying every thing in its path, or so I think. Sonic and Sally[]
It's blantly obvious that Sonic and Sally will love each other again. You can barely see this in 174, but it happens again in 187, where Sonic and Sally nearly kiss. Also, in Sonic 190, Sonic says "like always" after pounding Scourge. Sally replies "always, huh?". That's pretty obvious. Finally, in the most recent Free Sonic comic, the Sonic and Sally relationship is going to happen, considering one of the sentences says that Sonic and Sally are "maybe more" than friends. In mobius 30 years later they're married and have kids. So they even reproduced with eachother.

Sonics "physical age"[]
There's one thing that I don't get. According to the page, Sonic is 17 years old, but he's still "Biologically 16 due to his time in space". You say this, cos Sonic looks the same as he did a year before (Before he went into space). But even if Sonic didn't go into space (And thus have his physical age "stunted") he still would've look the same, cos since when does anybody age that drastically in one year? It could have been that Sonic did age a full year while he was in space, without realising it. A perfect example of this is Sally, besides having longer hair (Which she eventually gets rid of anyway) she looked EXACTLY the same as she did the year before. The same kinda goes for Sonic in M:XYL, he still looks reletively the same besides a couple of wrinkles around his eyes.
- Huh? It has nothing to do with his appearance. The point was that he arrived back on Mobius about a year after he left, but he did not experience a year of time while he was away. That's why he was so surprised to learn how long he'd been gone. To him it was only a matter of weeks or so; I find it hard to believe he would have somehow failed to notice the difference between a few days/weeks away from home and fifty of them. Relationships[]
You know, with the mistaken notion that Sonic has dated half the girls in the series (never mind that a lot of these are pretty much little more than close friendships/one-sided crushes), does Rouge really have to be listed under romance? Neither has shown actual romantic interest in the other; at most, Rouge is about as flirtatious as she is with almost everyone else she encounters. Sonic acting gentlemanly and polite towards her isn't him showing romantic interest, either. By this logic, Hope and Rosie should be listed as romantic interests of Sonic (he was generally nice and polite to them), with Sally and Sleuth listed as such for Rouge (she non-sarcastically addresses them as "sweetheart" and "honey" respectively). Ability?[]
Is Super Sonic really an ability? I wouldn't credit it as that since we have the notable super forms section, but if it is we would need to add a bullet to it. Either way a change needs to be made to the ability section of Sonic's template.

Isn't sonic 18? At the start of the comics. Sonic was his game age which was 15. Then he had a birthday about 10 issues after he defeated robotnik.He was in space for a year. Then he had another birthday shortly after issue #150. Sonicfan919 23:14, March 13, 2011 (UTC)
