Summary

Story One

"Tttriple Tttrouble!!!"

This story begins with Dr. Robotnik and Crabmeat examining a Chaos Emerald. Robotnik plans to use its power with a three-pronged power inducer, but Crabmeat accidentally doubles the power, thus cutting the chaos emerald in half and sending the pieces across Mobius. At that point, Robotnik calls a bounty hunter on his phone, to retrieve the two emerald shards. Meanwhile, Sonic is in the Knothole kitchen, eating a chili dog, when Tails arrives. Tails calls in Sonic to look at one of Rotor's discoveries.

He shows Sonic and Tails the chaos emerald's effect, and how it was sliced in half. Sonic impatiently runs off, to search for the emerald shards, while a sleazy-looking creature in the shadows watches him go by.

On Angel Island, Knuckles is relaxing by the sun, until he is awoken by a flying chaos emerald half. It lands into Mt. Osohai, the hardest mountain to climb on Angel Island. Knuckles decides to climb it and search for the flying emerald. He notices it burrowing into the mountain. Suddenly, Knuckles causes a rockslide and falls off the mountain.

Tttriple Tttrouble!!!: Part Two: "Zone sweet Zone"

The other emerald half has landed in a special zone generator. Sonic dashes in there, with the sleazy bounty hunter following him. Sonic runs through several zones and finds the second emerald half at the end. He grabs it, but is blindsided by the bounty hunter, known as Nack the Weasel.

Tttriple Tttrouble!!! Part Three: "Echidnapped!"

Nack has Sonic tied to a rock, quarreling with Robotnik about the payment. Meanwhile, Knuckles is delirious from his fall, and notices that he is surrounded by the Ancient Walkers. They explain, in cave paintings, that the emerald would head to the Chaos Chamber and destroy the Master Emerald. Knuckles tries to prevent this, and is sent back on Angel Island. Nack has Sonic in his hovercraft, when Knuckles jumps out and uppercuts Nack in the face. Sonic falls in a river, along with the craft, but comes to and swims back to the top.

Tttriple Tttrouble!!!: Part Four: "Blue Blur vs. Rough and Red!"

Sonic jumps out of the river and attacks Knuckles. They fight each other brutally, until Nack's wristwatch shows a hologram of Robotnik. Robotnik questions the delirious Nack, while Sonic and Knuckles nod his head and use him as a puppet.

After the transmission, Sonic and Knuckles hurry to the Chaos Chamber to save the Master Emerald, and find the broken emerald advancing towards it. The duo instantly put the broken emerald halves together, and cause and explosion. They arrive back on Angel Island, curious as to where the emerald has gone. They tie Nack up, and Sonic flies home on Nack's hovercraft.

Epilogue:

The Ancient Walkers acquire the Chaos Emerald.

Story Two

"Submersible Rehearsal"

Tails is excited about his new submarine Rotor built for him, the Sea Fox. Tails wants to use it, but Rotor refuses to let him go, from one of Princess Sally's orders. The Sea Fox runs on oil, which Rotor happens to be holding in a can. He walks off, while Tails furiously complains on how he shouldn't be treated like a little boy. Suddenly, he encounters a seagull, drenched in oil. He explains that Robotnik has created an underwater roboticizer, again. The poor seagull barely made it alive.

Tails then gets the idea of scrubbing the oil of of the gull and into his submarine; the Sea Fox starts up and Tails investigates underwater with his new machine. He notices a mean-looking robot named Octobot, turning helpless fish into robots. Tails rams the submarine into Octobot and launches a torpedo at the roboticizer. Tails and Octobot are blown out of the water, with Octobot swearing revenge.

Tails returns to shore, and plans to tell his friends all about his exciting adventure. He offers the seagull to accompany him, but the gull explains that he has a date with his "gull" friend.

Story Three

"First Contact"

Knuckles is carrying a crocodile named Vector over a lava pit, telling him to watch where he goes from now on. Once they arrive on land, Vector walks off, while Knuckles notices a steaming aroma. He follows it and notices a rock saying "Archimedes". Knuckles tries to get clues of this "Archimedes" from a bird named Catweazle, but no dice. Apparently, Knuckles is being tested and fights off a fire robot. Afterwards, Knuckles falls through a hole into the Chaos Chamber.

He hears a voice, which is coming from the Archimedes creature. Knuckles wants to know who he is, but the voice only tells Knuckles "That is part of the lesson".

Later on, Knuckles is sitting on a rock silently, until he is confronted by Vector. He explains to Vector that he has a "puzzle to solve named Archimedes".
