Sonic: Genesis is a graphic novel that reprints Sonic the Hedgehog #226 through Sonic the Hedgehog #229, along with selected portions of Sonic the Hedeghog #225 and Sonic the Hedgehog #230. The book was first released as a hardcover book in April 2012, with a softcover edition being released the following November.

Eggman launches "Operation Cleansweep", just moments after Sally is struck down by a hidden turret gun aboard the Death Egg Mk II.
In an all new reality, Sonic the Hedgehog meets and teams up with Sally Acorn and her band of rebels to bring down Doctor Eggman, and find out the cause of the planets recent wave of earthquakes.
After memories of the old world begin to resurface, and as this altered reality begins to crumble, Super Sonic takes on the Doctor in a final battle aboard the Death Egg Mk II.
Tapping into the Chaos energy powering the space station, Super Sonic uses Chaos Control to revert reality back to normal, as well as rewind time back by 10 seconds.
Once Mobius returns to normal, Sonic promptly uses his 10 second restart to rescue Sally before she can be struck down by the turret.
Eggman reveals the World Robotisizer.
Sally manages to invert the World Robotisizer to strike the Death Egg, causing major damage, but turning her into Mecha Sally in the process.
