Sky Canyon Zone is a region of Angel Island.
History[]
During his adventure to rescue Cream the Rabbit's family from Dr. Eggman, Sonic the Hedgehog did battle with one of Eggman's creations in Sky Canyon. Knuckles the Echidna was tricked into piloting the craft, but upon being defeated joined up with Sonic to help him battle against Eggman. (VG: SAd2)
A sign post on Angel Island pointed the way to Sky Canyon during the occupation of the Dingo Regime, also indicating the directions to Red Mountain Zone and Lava Reef Zone. (StH: #141, CSE)
Background Information[]
- Sky Canyon has yet to actually appear in the comics, having only been alluded to in StH #141. However, given that most of the events of the games are considered canon, it is considered to exist under tier 2 canon.
