Shadow the Hedgehog is a Mobian Hedgehog from the Sonic Boom Zone.

History

Shadow came across Lyric the Last Ancient during the latter's search for the Lost Crystal of Power, and sensing Lyric's evil intentions confronted him. Lyric decided that Shadow would make an excellent servant, but when Shadow refused to work with him, Lyric placed a mind control device on him. (SCDC)

Personality

Shadow in this universe has some personality traits similar to his Prime Zone Counterparts, such as his pride and arrogance and a strong sense of justice. Shadow's Rivalry with Sonic in this universe is much more hostile to the point of being enemies but will put aside his rivalry when a greater threat is present.

Abilities

Shadow's abilities in this universe are the same as his Prime Counterparts. He can warp as well but it is unknown if this version of Shadow can commit Chaos Control or a Super form due to the fact no Chaos Emeralds have been seen or mentioned in the (Sonic Boom Zone).

Background Information

• Due to SEGA restrictions, Shadow did not appear in any issues of the official Archie Sonic Boom comic series.
• This is so far the only version of Shadow to not have his origin flushed out.
• In his first appearance in the series, Dr. Eggman referred to Shadow as “the second most popular character in the entire canon”.
