Seagull Island is a tropical island in the Sol Zone. Among its residents are sailor and budding mechanic, Marine the Raccoon, and the Coconut Crew, a youth group of koalas. After Sonic the Hedgehog and Miles "Tails" Prower crash landed on the island in their Tornado, Marine quickly found them and told them of the pirates that had come to the island seeking the Chaos Emerald she'd found. Just as she showed it to the duo, Captain Whisker's top agent, Johnny came out of nowhere to snatch it and they went into pursuit of him and eventually made their way off the island after meeting up with Blaze the Cat.
