Rosy the Rascal (also known as Anti Amy Rose) is the Moebius counterpart to Amy Rose. Rosy wears a very similar outfit Amy wore when she was younger and carries a hammer similar to Amy's, only green and spiked. Mentally unstable, Anti Amy seeks to attack just about anyone who gets close to her, and constantly haunts Scourge for ignoring her.
Increase in Age
Rosy and Amy both share similar historical scenarios. Like Amy, Rosy used a special ring (it is unknown if it was the Anti-Mobius version of the Ring of Acorns or not) to make herself older so that Scourge would notice her. However, the jolt of energy from the ring made Rosy go insane. (StH: #79, #193)
Sought out by Sonic and Amy
Rosy lurked around in Moebius' Castle Acorn, waiting for Scourge to come back to her. Sonic the Hedgehog and Amy, with the help of Buns Rabbot, attempted to recruit her to help defeat Scourge and his Suppression Squad, who had recently invaded Freedom HQ in Mobius. When asked for her help, Anti Amy explained that Scourge often ignored her attacks, thus the reason she used the "special ring" to make herself older. However it was noted by Sonic that there were side effects to this, as Rosy looked older, but did not act like it. She revealed nonchalantly that while the transformation turned her "into a big girl," it caused her mind to "shatter" thus leaving her eager to break everything else. With vicious glee, she attacked the trio. (StH: #193)
During the battle, after Sonic tried to reason with her that, unlike Scourge, he was "good." Rosy merely reasoned "You're a Sonic! My Scourgey is a Sonic! I want to smash Sonics!" Amy tried to intervene, saying that as counterparts they were almost like sisters, but Rosy wanted to fight her nonetheless. As the four engaged in battle, Buns used her riot foam in an attempt to prevent her from moving, though Rosy simply destroyed the hardened foam with her hammer. After this, Amy attempted to keep Rosy distracted so that Buns and Sonic could locate the Globe Posts that had been stolen from Anti Robotnik. Buns was concerned about leaving Amy to fight alone, though Sonic was confident she could take care of herself. Buns then protected Sonic while he went through the Globe Posts to see what was going on in Mobius. (StH: #194)
The battle was soon lost however, as Rosy broke Amy's hammer. Just as Rosy noticed the Globe Posts and was about to smash them, Buns got in the way to give Amy time to get Sonic back. However, due to the betrayal of the Suppression Squad, Scourge was sent back to his world along with Sonic before the Globe and Star Posts were shut down from the other side, trapping them on Moebius. While Scourge was enraged by his team's betrayal, the group realized Rosy had defeated Buns, having severely damaged the Omega Care Unit and leaving her helpless. (StH: #194)
Now that Scourge was present, Rosy focused her violent attention on him, but he managed to fend her off and focus a battle with Sonic leaving Amy to fend off Rosy. Shadow the Hedgehog, Metal Sonic, Rob O' the Hedge, and Silver the Hedgehog, interrupted Sonic and Scourge's fight and Rosy was chasing Amy who was begging for Sonic to trade opponents when they ran into the group. Rosy was initially pleased with the number of potential victims present, though Sonic quickly convinced everyone present to focus their efforts on defeating Scourge, telling Rosy she'd get dibs on smashing Scourge to which she squealed "You're the bestest!" Scourge, refusing to give up, used the Anarchy Beryl in his throne to transform into Super Scourge. (StH: #194, #195)
Rosy was temporarily defeated by Super Scourge but recovered quickly and tried to "squish" him, but Scourge's invulnerability prevented this and he threw her into a wall where she fell into unconsciousness. Taking advantage of the opportunity, she was tied up by Rob O' the Hedge, who felt some pity for her. What became of Rosy after Super Scourge was defeated is currently unknown. (StH: #196)
Compared to Amy's crush on Sonic, Rosy is obsessed with Scourge. However, this obsession is decidedly twisted as she'd love nothing more than to smash him with her hammer, resenting him for ignoring her attacks in the past—somewhat like Amy, she hopes that her "Sonic" will take notice of her. She continues to refer to him by the pet name "Scourgey" and makes kissy-faces while taking great delight at the prospect of hurting him. She is extremely violent, eccentric and single-minded, eager to stalk and cause pain while retaining distorted signs of a cutesy, childish demeanor. This is reflected in her speech, in which she often uses nicknames and simplified terms in a sing-song tone. She herself seems aware that the magic ring she used on herself "broke" her mind, but appears unconcerned with this fact, as her only focus now is Scourge. Also unlike her Prime counterpart, she will not hold back when attacking and will hit her opponent with full force, which is strong enough to leave a huge dent in a twenty story building, or quite possibly kill someone. Her hammer can even break Amy's Piko Piko Hammer, even though the two hammers are the same in strength and durability. (StH: #193, #194, #195, #196)
- Rosy's name is derived from Amy's game counterpart's nickname from the arcade game Sonic the Fighters,
- Rosy's overall appearance is based on the original appearance of Amy from Sonic CD until her redesign in Sonic Adventure. As a result, she is the only inhabitant of Moebius known to have shared an outfit with her Mobius counterpart while not in disguise.
- Scourge mentions Rosy when he says that she's more cuddly in comparison to Flying Frog. (SU: #31)
- Rosy the Rascal has many similarities to DC Batman villianess Harley Quinn. Both are mentally unstable pycopaths, have large mallets as weapons and are insanelly obsessed with an individual that they know, Rosy-Scourge/Harley-The Joker. However unlike Harley who is madly in love with The Joker, Rosy madly wants to squash Scourge.
- Despite being one of only two Moebius characters not created by Ken Penders, it's likely she has been removed from the series as well.
