Sally with a Ring-Blade activated.
The Ring-Blades are Sally Acorn's weapons of choice in the Post-Super Genesis Wave Timeline, and were created by Dr. Ellidy. They are blue energy blades that manifest from blue rings Sally wears around her wrists, and have the ability to slice through metal and repel attacks from enemies.
History[]
Creation and Early Use[]
Dr. Ellidy created the Ring-Blades some time after taking up residence on Isolated Island, and had them delivered to Sally before settling back into his retirement. (SU: #71)
Fighting for a Broken Planet[]
Sally employed the Ring-Blades when Metal Sonic attempted to terminate her in Mobotropolis following her success in stealing several files from Dr. Eggman. She would later use them on a mission to rescue Uncle Chuck and Professor Pickle from an Egg Train, though the blades had difficulty cutting through the train's thick roof hatches. (StH: #256, #258)

Sally would later be forced to employ her blades in battle against a group of Dark Gaia's Minions who attacked the Sky Patrol. Later, she would be forced to use them against Dr. Ellidy's Badniks under the control of Phage. Before entering the Digital World via the Digitizer to help Nicole, she returned one of her blades to its creator to help him defend himself. In the Digital World she was able to wield a pair of blades with greater versatility than in reality, using them to generate a shield and sword as opposed to the usual wrist blades. Background Information[]
- The Ring-Blades are derived from similar weapons used by Mecha Sally in the Pre-Super Genesis Wave Timeline. Notably, Mecha Sally was only able to manifest her blades after being weaponized and equipped with a modified Power Ring.
