The Knight of Kronos is an entitlement mentioned by Mammoth Mogul that is sought after by Silver the Hedgehog through his training. Little is known about it besides the fact that Mammoth Mogul has told Silver, "If you are to be a Knight of Kronos, you cannot jump through time without consideration", which would seem to imply that they are time travelling protectors or guardians if Silver wants to become one in order to restore his time. Whether or not Mammoth Mogul was one and is now passing on the torch to Silver is unknown. It is possible that the Knights of Kronos are related to the Time Stones, as using them requires the Chronos Control, and while not spelled the same, a link is obvious in the pronnounciation. • The name is probably a reference of the achievement "Knights of Kronos" in the Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) game, which is achieved by completing the Last Mission with a S rank.
• In Anchient Greek mythology, Kronos was a titan with the ability to control time. Also in the mythology, Chronos (Chronos Control), was the personification of time itself, and a separate entity from Kronos.
• In SSSM #3 Who's Who section, it is revealed that there a belief/rumor that the Knights of Kronos protect the Time Stones and time itself.
