Johnny is a robotic pirate and a minion of Captain Whisker. Existing in Blaze the Cat's dimension, Johnny first encountered Sonic the Hedgehog and Miles "Tails" Prower after stealing the green Chaos Emerald from Marine the Raccoon. Once stolen, Johnny boasted about himself, saying he was "the best of Cap'n Whisker's agents. The fastest of the fast. The sultan of speed. The embodiment of awesome!" Following this, Sonic, Tails and Marine chased after him. Later, Sonic, Tails, Marine and Blaze gathered together and fought against Johnny, Captain Whiskers and Dr. Nega and retrieved the Chaos Emerald. (StH: #180, SU: #1)

For an as-of-yet unknown reason, Johnny has an Eggman-like symbol on his chest. It is likely due to him working for Captain Whiskers, who bears a slight resemblance to Eggman.
