Forums: Index > Watercooler > "Skin" tone...?

Never mind that fans are divided about whether the muzzles and whatever on certain characters are furred or not, I don't think "Skin: Caucasian" is really fitting. Not only is the "skin" part debatable, but "Caucasian" does not automatically/solely mean "white/peach skin." The term has all kinds of meanings, ranging from "white" as a race or culture (not a skin tone) to specifically meaning of European decent or even a specific range like the Caucasus region (including those of some African and Asian decent) regardless of skin tone. If you really want to specify the muzzle colour you may as well just say muzzle/arms/(whatever) "peach" or something. I mean, Rouge and Shadow are generally darker there than others. What would you call them if the others are "Caucasian?" CrazyLea 05:19, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

I was not aware that Caucasian spread so wide. I'll change it to peach. And I would call Shadow and Rouge tan instead of peach. I always wondered just how a Hedgehog who'd been frozen for fifty years managed to get the time to catch some rays.Fairfieldfencer FFF 08:43, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
