The Oil Ocean Refinery is located in the Great Desert of Mobius and is a facility belonging to the Eggman Empire. Its purpose is to serve as a refueling station for the new Death Egg.
Histoy[]
The Oil Ocean Refinery was maintained by Grandmaster Beauregard Rabbot's chapter of the Dark Egg Legion; they also protected it from the Sand-Blasters, the Freedom Fighters from nearby Sand Blast City who sought the refinery for themselves. (StH: #217, #224)
Due to the actions of Sonic the Hedgehog and Bunnie "Rabbot" D'Coolette, the refinery suffered heavy damage, rendering it unusable for the time being. Although badly damaged, the local Dark Egg Legion chapter and the Sand Blasters continued to war over it, with one such confrontation ending when the undercover Mighty the Armadillo destroyed an attacking Legion tank.
