NiGHTS into Dreams... is a video game series developed by SEGA and one of the franchises included in the Worlds Unite crossover.

Characters and Concepts

NiGHTS, Reala, and Wizeman.

Heroes

• NiGHTS-a heroic Nightmaren who rebelled against his/her kind in order to defend the world of Nightopia.

Villains

• Wizeman the Wicked-the ruler of realm of Nightmare and the creator of the Nightmarens, including NiGHTS and Reala.
• Reala-Wizeman's top lieutenant and NiGHTS' bitter rival.

Background Information

NiGHTS as he appeared in "his" short-lived Archie Comics series.

• NiGHTS into Dreams... had a comic miniseries produced by Archie Comics in 1998. It was originally planned as three issues, but sold well enough to be expanded into six. It did not sell well enough to have any follow-up miniseries, specials, etc. The series was notable for designating NiGHTS as a male; the games' creators had purposefully designed the character to be androgynous so that players could interpret the character whichever way they preferred. The miniseries and NiGHTS appearance do not share a continuity however.
