Metal Scourge is a robotic duplicate of Scourge the Hedgehog, much like Metal Sonic is to Sonic the Hedgehog.
History[]
Dr. Eggman created this robot in 3237 "on the fly", his first mission was to assist Metal Sonic in defeating Sonic and Scourge the Hedgehog. For a time victory seemed within their grasp, but both Metal Scourge and Metal Sonic were destroyed when the Suppression Squad was called in by Scourge to assist in the battle. (StH: #191, #192)
Parts from Metal Scourge (along with some from Metal Sonic and the Metal Sonic Troopers) were later salvaged and used to reconstruct Shard by Sir Charles Hedgehog. (StH: #238)
Abilities[]
Metal Scourge is identical in abilities to Metal Sonic, with super speed, strength, and flight capabilities. He is notable in having a twin-slotted intake engine, which mirrors Scourge's scar, but it is unknown whether this affected his performance.
Background Information[]
- Metal Scourge is the only robot Eggman has created based off of a resident from Moebius. He is also the first robot-excluding the Auto Automatons/Infiltrators-created by Eggman or Robotnik who is not modeled after a character originating in the Sega games.
- Metal Scourges eyes are white with black pupils rather than the black eyes with red pupils of Metal Sonic.
