Lyric the Last Ancient is an evil serpent from the Sonic Boom Zone.
History[]
Lyric was once part of a group known as the Ancients, but became obsessed with obtaining the Lost Crystal of Power and gaining limitless power. However, his fellow Ancients worked together to break the crystal, and imprisoned him using its power before scattering it to keep it out of his hands. Thousands of years later he made his escape, and after retrieving his robot army began searching for the pieces of the crystal. He ran into opposition in the form of Shadow the Hedgehog, who impressed him so much that he press-ganged him into service with a mind control device. Shortly thereafter, he ran into Amy Rose and engaged her in battle. (SB: SCDC)

Lyric is a power mad individual who will go to any lengths to conquer the world and claim ultimate power.
Abilities[]
Lyric is equipped with a mechanical suit that gives him formidable abilities, and is also very adept with the ancient technology he commands.
