Misty-Re was a female Echidna and member of the Dark Presence, possibly in the Dark Eyes faction. She infiltrated Castle Mobius in 3265 by getting a position as a maid and revealed herself in 3267 when she gassed Silver the Hedgehog unconscious after flirting with him, and was then knocked out herself by King Sonic using her own gas-gun. - In November of 2009, a fan on the BumbleKing Comics forum asked current writer Ian "Potto" Flynn in his recently restarted monthly Q&A thread if he had given a name to this character yet. When another fan in a Q&A Talkback thread said he liked calling her "Misty-Re," Flynn asked if that was because of the gas gun she used and claimed it was "too punny to pass up." Immediately after that he declared this to be "OFFICIAL FANON MADE CANON!" (1)
