The De-Roboticizer is a device created by the Bem scientist Ceneca 9009. It works similarly to Dr. Robotnik's Roboticizer, converting mechanical beings into organic and organic beings into mechancial. Invented to help the people of Biotex, it was outlawed by the Bem after the inhabitants of that planet died as a result of the changes caused by the De-Roboticizer. Despite this, it was later used by Ceneca 9009 to restore Amadeus Prower to his normal form, as well as transforming Sonic the Hedgehog and Tails into robots to confront Dr. Eggman and Snively, who had been converted back into organic forms. Further, the machine was employed to restore all Roboticized Mobians to normal, with the exception of Jules Hedgehog, Bunnie Rabbot, the Mobian Dragons, Valdez, Fly Fly Freddy, Carl Condor, three Overlanders and the Universalamander. It also made all Mobians reverted by the Bem immune to the effects of the Roboticizer. (StH: #118, #123, #129, #134, #155, #156)

The permanent effects of the Bem's planet-wide De-Roboticization was eliminated by Doctor Eggman by resetting the universe with Operation: Clean Sweep. (StH: #230)
