Charmy Man was a Robian version of Charmy Bee, created using the robotics of the Year 20XX and the Roboticization process of Mobius. He was one of the Roboticized Masters created by Dr. Eggman and Dr. Wily.
Charmy and the other members of the Chaotix were among those captured and converted into members of the Roboticized Masters. After meeting this fate thanks to an attack by Copybot, Charmy was transformed into Charmy Man. He was deployed against Sonic and Mega Man's team of heroes alongside the other masters, and with his teammates Vector Man and Charmy Man ended up facing the blue heroes, Tails, and Rush. Despite proving a formidable opponent to Sonic, he was defeated after Mega Man adapted Vector Man's Acoustic Blaster power. Like his Crocodile teammate, Charmy Man was then restored to his normal, organic form. (StH: #249, SU: #51, #52)
Charmy Man was capable of flight, but had a pair of turbine engines on his back in place of wings. His main combat ability was his Rapid Stinger, in which he transformed his hands into launchers that fired metallic stingers. However, like the other Roboticized Masters, he was vulnerable to Sonic and Mega Man's combined powers. He was also notably vulnerable to Vector Man's Acoustic Blaster attack, which Mega Man believed may have been a built in weakness designed by Dr. Wily.
- During his battle with Charmy Man, Sonic started to suggest that they nickname him "Blast-" before being cutoff. This was likely intended as a reference to Mega Man enemy Blast Hornet.
Charmy Man appeared as a mechanical version of Charmy with Robot master features, including a flattened face with a square segment in place of his organic mouth. Charmy's flight helmet became a part of Charmy Man's head, and he actually had visible eyelids that would go down over his orange optic sensors. Charmy's flight vest, shoes, and gloves fused together with his body, while his wings were replaced with a pair of turbine engines that were connected to his back by struts. In place of antennae, he possessed a pair of fins atop his head, and the goggles from his helmet became glass domes on the back of his head as well.
