The Chaos Cannon was a machine created as part of a collaboration between Dimitri of the Dark Legion and Dr. Robotnik. Designed to run off the energy of the Master Emerald and to turn living beings into machines, it was set up on Angel Island. Luckily, despite temporarily switching bodies, Sonic the Hedgehog and Knuckles the Echidna were able to thwart the plot and destroy the cannon. (SSS: #12)
