- Sonic's plan to let himself to be roboticized is denied by Princess Sally.
- Nack captures Sonic
- As a result of getting roboticized, Sonic becomes "Mecha Sonic".

- This is the first appearance of Mecha Sonic, he becomes Mecha Sonic (albeit a different design) by the Bem in order to test if roboticised beings are superior.
- In the games, Mecha Sonic was instead fully robotic in origin, who was the predecessor to Silver Sonic and Metal Sonic.
- The title, "Rage Against the Machine", is possible taken from the band of the same name.
