- Not to be confused with the Archieverse, the unofficial name that denotes the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog continuity as a whole.
The Archie Comics Zone is an alternate reality inhabited by the characters of Archie Comics Publications' own flagship comic book titles. In this universe, Sonic the Hedgehog and his universe are regarded as works of fiction, as are the characters of the Image Comics Zone
One Halloween, whilst browsing a comic book store, Sabrina Spellman accidentally transported herself and a boy named Stevie into a copy of Sonic Super Special #7. Landing in Robotropolis, the pair quickly got on the wrong side of Sonic the Hedgehog and Knuckles the Echidna, who believed the pair to be Overlanders. Sabrina quickly reversed the spell, bringing them back into the real world, however accidentally bringing Sonic and Knuckles back with them. With the Mobians stuck, Sabrina had no choice but to bring the duo to a Halloween party being held by Cheryl Blossom, passing the two of them off as guests in costume. Sabrina eventually managed to get in touch with her cat familiar, Salem, and alerted him to the situation. Salem arrived and teleported the heroes back into their comic book, but not before an incident in which they lynched Jughead Jones, who was wearing a convincing Dr. Robotnik costume. Sabrina erased the memories of everybody at the party, forgetting the duo had ever been there, and all was well again. (AHT)

- As Archie Comics stories bare little to no continuity toward one another, it is unknown whether the stories above are considered canon to one another.
- Regardless, the stories are NOT considered canon to the Sonic continuity.
- Sonic has made background cameos in various other Archie Comics stories since Archie acquired the license for the comic series. The vast majority of these appearances have been via posters, costumes, and other forms of merchandise, further reinforcing that Sonic is a fictional character in this universe.
